We are currently seeking a Pharmacist to join our dedicated team at Pharmacy Solutions Ltd. in Cairns. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail pharmacy, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care, medication management, and health promotion. Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient medications for interactions and contraindications.
• Facilitate medication reviews with patients and provide feedback to healthcare providers.
• Implement strategies for enhancing medication adherence among patients.
• Perform compounding of medications as required.
• Act as a resource for drug information for both patients and staff.
• Engage patients in discussions about chronic disease management.
• Monitor the pharmacy's adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Lead pharmacy initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiencies.
• Develop educational materials for patients regarding medication use.
• Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for pharmacy patrons.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Any additional relevant qualifications

Experience

• 2-5 years of diverse pharmacy experience preferred

• Clinical Pharmacy Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist certification
• Pharmacy Practice Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
