In this critical role, you will coordinate the cytology laboratory's daily operations, ensuring high standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering top-notch diagnostic services while mentoring your team.

Responsibilities

• Lead cytology laboratory operations and ensure optimal workflow.
• Facilitate quality control measures and compliance with health regulations.
• Conduct examinations and oversee the accuracy of diagnostic results.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff on laboratory practices.
• Oversee stock management and the ordering of laboratory materials.
• Develop laboratory protocols and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Prepare and present performance analyses to management.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of laboratory activities.
• Support research initiatives and collaborative projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Science or a related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Cytology are advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience within a cytology laboratory environment, preferably with a focus on team leadership
