Job Description

We are searching for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will bring both medical knowledge and compassionate care to our four-legged patients. You'll diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of animal health issues, provide preventive care and counsel pet owners on responsible animal care.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals.
  • Execute surgeries and provide emergency care.
  • Advise pet owners on health maintenance and emergency procedures.
  • Document and review all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Assist in the training of junior staff and veterinary students.
  • Participate in outreach programs to promote animal health.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Veterinary Degree from an accredited institution
  • Specialization in Surgery is a plus.
Experience
  • At least 5 years in a veterinary practice, with specialization preferred.
