Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Officer to join our Gold Coast team. This role involves developing and implementing public health initiatives aimed at enhancing community health and wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with health professionals and community stakeholders to assess health needs and design programs that address these needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement public health strategies to address community health issues.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and community organisations.
• Evaluate and report on the success of health promotion activities.
• Coordinate with local health departments for data collection and analysis.
• Develop and deliver health education workshops for the community.
• Advise on health policy and best practices for community health improvement.
• Utilize statistical tools to monitor public health trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in public health
