Job Description

As an Art Therapist, you will lead individual and group sessions, utilising creative mediums to support patients in their recovery journey. Your role is vital in helping patients articulate their feelings and achieve personal growth through artistic expression.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe and supportive environment for creative expression.
  • Utilise art to aid patients in managing stress and emotional pain.
  • Adapt therapeutic methods to fit individual patient circumstances.
  • Build relationships with patients to foster trust and effective communication.
  • Provide feedback and guidance on individual artistic progress.
  • Collaborate in team meetings to share insights and gather feedback on approaches.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Therapy or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous
Experience
  • 2-4 years of working experience as an Art Therapist
