Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Mackay. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and improving systems and processes to enhance productivity and efficiency within our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, conduct time and motion studies, and implement innovative solutions. Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving in a dynamic environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot inefficiencies within current manufacturing processes.
• Develop cost-saving strategies and implement them effectively.
• Lead projects to enhance production capabilities and reduce cycle times.
• Measure and report on key performance indicators to track improvements.
• Work closely with quality assurance to monitor production standards.
• Provide training and support to staff on new operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing setting
