Plate Grainer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Plate Grainer to apply decorative grain patterns to metal plates in our Melbourne facility. You will collaborate with a team of skilled technicians to ensure that our products not only meet but exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Regularly test and calibrate machinery to ensure quality output.
• Document and report on production metrics to the supervisor.
• Train new employees in proper graining techniques and safety protocols.
• Assist in developing new patterns and finishes as requested by customers.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Support the quality control team with inspections and adjustments.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in metal finishing or plate graining

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail

• Technical drawing interpretation

Languages

• English: Fluent
