Job Description

As a Patient Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our healthcare facility by ensuring smooth patient registration, managing appointment schedules, and verifying insurance details. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication and organizational skills to enhance patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify patient information during registration.
  • Enter patient data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Manage appointment schedules and reduce waiting times for patients.
  • Assist patients and families with questions regarding their registration.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in staff meetings to improve patient registration processes.
  • Assist in training new staff on patient registration protocols.
  • Provide support during peak times to ensure exceptional patient service.
  • Follow up with patients regarding appointment reminders.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualifications in Health Administration or related field
Experience
  • Experience with patient registration and insurance verification
Technical Skills
  • Medical Billing Software
Certifications
  • Telemedicine Platforms Experience
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Mandarin: Conversational
