Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Mount Isa. You will provide essential nursing care to patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your role will include administering medications, monitoring patient health, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures and execute treatment protocols.
• Educate patients on medication and treatment regimens.
• Coordinate care with other health professionals and support staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Assist in clinical research and evidence-based practice implementation.
• Train and mentor new staff and nursing students.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

• Patient care

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License (AHPRA)
• BLS and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
