UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our vibrant team in Wollongong. This role involves designing user-centric interfaces and experiences for our digital products. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in both user experience and user interface design, demonstrating their ability to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to completion.
• Conduct A/B testing to validate design decisions.
• Communicate design rationale to stakeholders effectively.
• Optimize existing designs to improve user experience and accessibility.
• Gather feedback from users to iterate on designs.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping tools (InVision, Axure)

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Adaptability

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments for iterative design processes.
• Experience with Accessibility (WCAG) standards: Understanding of designing for users with disabilities.
