Responsibilities

• Support the surgical team by preparing instruments and equipment.
• Handle patient transport and assist during the surgical procedures.
• Monitor surgical supplies and report any shortages.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning and safe for use.
• Assist with post-operative care and ensure patient comfort.
• Be ready to assist with other duties as directed by the Surgical Team.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by being proactive and supportive.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
• Current First Aid certificate
• Current police clearance certificate

Experience

• No previous experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a healthcare setting: Previous work or volunteer experience in a healthcare environment is beneficial.
