Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you will be instrumental in managing metal refining processes. This position requires hands-on operation of furnaces and the ability to monitor complex systems. Ideal candidates will have experience in metallurgy and a passion for optimizing production processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the metal refining process from furnace load to product output.
• Regularly inspect the furnace for signs of wear and needed repairs.
• Coordinate with supply chain to ensure adequate raw material availability.
• Utilize technology to monitor and report on furnace efficiency.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist the Production Manager in meeting production targets.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss challenges and solutions.
• Document all maintenance activities and production anomalies.
• Provide feedback on equipment and process performance.
