Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Forensic Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing therapy, and advising on legal matters related to mental health. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work with a diverse range of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological evaluations and prepare detailed reports for court cases.
  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices.
  • Advise on best practices in mental health for legal contexts.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and legal counsel on complex cases.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated in the field.
  • Conduct workshops and training for legal professionals on psychological issues.
  • Assist in developing standards and protocols for forensic psychological practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist
Experience
  • Experience working in the legal system is preferred
