Job Description

The Chemical Dependency Therapist will provide counseling and therapeutic services to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. They will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and offer support throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' needs and create tailored treatment plans.
  • Lead support groups and individual therapy sessions.
  • Track and report client progress towards treatment goals.
  • Educate clients and families on addiction recovery resources.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss client care plans.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards and legal regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required

  • 2+ years of experience in addiction counseling
