Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team in Armidale. In this role, you will provide high-quality veterinary care, perform examinations, diagnose illnesses, and recommend treatment plans. You will also engage with pet owners, providing education and support on animal health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical exams and diagnostic tests on pets.
  • Perform surgery and assist with anaesthesia as needed.
  • Coordinate with animal shelters and rescue organizations.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and trainees.
  • Develop health plans tailored to individual animal needs.
  • Monitor animal recovery and assess ongoing treatments.
  • Contribute to clinic management and operational improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • Specialisation in emergency and critical care is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
