Job Description

The Retail Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to prevent loss. Collaborate with store management to ensure the highest level of security in our retail locations.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute loss prevention policies tailored to the retail environment.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on loss prevention techniques.
  • Analyze data from surveillance systems and reports to identify patterns.
  • Participate in planning and executing loss prevention audits.
  • Collaborate with teams to reduce shrinkage and enhance asset protection.
  • Lead investigations into security breaches and theft incidents.
  • Prepare and present findings to management and law enforcement as needed.
  • Review and update security procedures regularly based on audits and trends.
  • Create awareness about security risks throughout the store.
  • Work towards fostering a culture of accountability and integrity.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a loss prevention or retail security role
