First-Line Supervisor of Police and Detectives

Job Description

The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of employees during their shift and ensuring that operations run smoothly. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, organised and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of production operators during shifts.
• Monitor production targets and quality standards.
• Address employee grievances and conflicts in a professional manner.
• Prepare and maintain shift reports detailing operations.
• Lead by example to foster a positive and productive team atmosphere.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's or higher level qualification in Logistics or Management is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing or logistics.

Technical Skills

• ERP Software
• Lean Manufacturing Principles

Advantageous

• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre: Hands-on experience in managing operations in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Experience with Six Sigma: Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies for quality control.
