Job Description

As a Torch Operator, you'll be working closely with cutting-edge machinery to cut through various materials with precision. This is a hands-on role that involves operating different types of torches effectively and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate multiple types of cutting equipment including gas and plasma torches.
  • Verify the correctness of work produced by measuring and comparing with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following occupational health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve cutting processes and productivity.
  • Document and maintain records of production activities as required.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge about cutting technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Trade qualifications in metal fabrication are an advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
