Job Description

As a Drilling and Boring Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. You will operate and monitor various machines to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. This position requires performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for operation by setting tools and adjusting controls.
• Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet specifications.
• Keep a clean and organised workspace.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production issues.
• Assist in the development of operating procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate IV in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting

Technical Skills

• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Computer Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift License: A valid forklift license is desirable.
• Experience with CNC Machines: Familiarity with CNC machinery is an advantage.
