Job Description

We are seeking a diligent HSE Manager to spearhead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives in Ballarat. The role involves developing and implementing safety policies, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in fostering a safety culture, providing training, and managing risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage health and safety training programs.
• Ensure all safety equipment is maintained and compliant.
• Act as the primary point of contact for safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety across all departments.
• Review and update safety protocols as necessary.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to regulatory bodies.
• Review contractor safety practices to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or a related discipline
• Master's degree is highly regarded

Experience

• 5+ years in health, safety, and environmental management
