UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Newcastle team. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating user-friendly interfaces and enhancing the overall user experience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for design and be able to balance aesthetics with functionality.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops to generate new ideas and solutions.
• Translate complex concepts into simple and engaging user experiences.
• Continuously improve design processes and workflows.
• Evaluate and recommend design tools and resources.
• Support marketing efforts with design assets and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot design issues.
• Assist in conducting competitive analysis and identifying market trends.
• Enhance the product experience through user empathy and design thinking.
• Create detailed documentation of design specifications for development handoff.
• Participate in regular design meetings and contribute to team strategy discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
