As a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver, you will be responsible for moving and organizing trailers and containers within our yard. This role requires excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety, ensuring efficient operations in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Positioning and maneuvering trailers in the yard.
• Conducting routine safety inspections on forklifts and yard equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times.
• Coordinating with warehouse staff for efficient cargo handling.
• Maintaining a tidy and organized working environment.
• Using yard management systems to track trailer movements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in yard spotting or related field preferred.

Technical Skills

• Excellent driving and maneuvering skills
• Yard management systems

Soft Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with forklifts and yard equipment: Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other equipment used in yard operations.
