Interior Designer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a passionate Interior Designer to join our team in Coffs Harbour. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong understanding of design principles and trends. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing stunning interior spaces that meet client needs and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from initial concept through to final installation.
• Work closely with architects and builders during the execution of projects.
• Present design ideas and revisions to clients and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the selection of furnishings, fixtures, and finishes.
• Ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations.
• Foster relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or related field
• Advanced diploma in Interior Design is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in interior design projects

Technical Skills

• 3ds Max
• Photoshop

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate
• Certified Professional Interior Designer (CPID)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with interior design software: Competency in design software like Revit and Chief Architect.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design styles: Demonstrated ability to create various design aesthetics through previous projects.
