Job Description

As a Tail Board Man, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the supervision of tail board operations on construction sites, ensuring that all safety measures are adhered to. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with team members, documenting activities, and identifying potential safety risks to facilitate a successful project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tail board operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Document and analyse tail board activities for continuous improvement.
  • Train new team members on tail board processes and safety practices.
  • Coordinate with other trades to optimise workflow on site.
  • Prepare daily reports for management on operational status and challenges.
  • Facilitate safety shutdowns and reinstatements as required.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
  • Drive a culture of safety awareness among crew members.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in construction safety or related field
Experience
  • Prior experience in construction or related field; tail board experience is highly desirable.
