Job Description

As a Layaway Clerk at XYZ Retail, you'll manage layaway orders while providing top-notch customer service. Your role includes processing orders, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with customers to ensure their satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer layaway orders efficiently.
• Provide assistance with inquiries about layaway policies.
• Track payments and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
• Work closely with inventory management systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding layaway.
• Facilitate communication between customers and store management.
• Assist with training new staff on layaway processes.

• Handle cash transactions and balance registers.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Retail Management (preferred)

Experience

• Previous experience with layaway orders or payment plans is advantageous
