Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Technician to support the collection, analysis, and reporting of geological data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geology and be adept at utilizing various methodologies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations to evaluate geological conditions.
• Collect and analyze geological data to support environmental decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and reports.
• Interface with clients to understand project requirements.
• Contribute to team discussions and strategy sessions.
• Document findings meticulously for future reference.
• Aid in the training of new staff on procedures and protocols.
• Promote sustainability practices in all geological activities.
• Ensure data integrity through systematic quality control.
• Report on project progress to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Honours or Master's degree in Geology or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-7 years of hands-on geological analysis experience

• Soil and Rock Sampling
• Environmental Impact Assessment

Certifications

• Certified Geological Technician (CGT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
