Extruding and Drawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender

Job Description

As a Grid Molder, you will be responsible for creating moulds and casts for grid structures used in construction projects. Work alongside a dedicated team to produce high-quality, precision-made grids that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mould designs for grid production.
• Ensure all moulds meet specified production standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on moulding equipment.
• Work closely with the quality control team to monitor product standards.
• Prepare production reports and documents accurately.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues with machinery.
• Suggest enhancements to production processes for efficiency.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Assist with material handling and inventory control.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in Manufacturing or Engineering
• Experience in quality control is desirable

Experience

• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties
• Measurement and calibration tools

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Organisational skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience working with complex geometric shapes: Knowledge of advanced moulding techniques for intricate designs.
