Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Mixing and Blending Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our production team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for preparing and mixing paints and coatings, ensuring compliance with safety standards while delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Select and set up mixing equipment for different formulations.
• Conduct quality checks on mixed products before dispatch.
• Implement improvements to mixing processes to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely production schedules.
• Maintain accurate logs of production and machine operation.
• Participate in regular safety audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in paint mixing and spraying techniques preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
• Experience with automated mixing and spraying systems

Soft Skills

• Physical stamina
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing environment: Hands-on experience in a fast-paced production setting.
• Knowledge of different types of coatings: Experience with powder coating and other specialty formulations.
