Health Teacher

Job Description

As a Health Teacher at Wellness Academy, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative health education programmes to students from grades 7 to 12. Your role will involve developing lesson plans, facilitating discussions, and guiding students to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver lesson plans focused on various health topics.
• Evaluate student progress regularly and tailor support as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other educators to integrate health education into other subjects.
• Organize health-related workshops and events for students and parents.
• Ensure a safe and respectful classroom environment for all students.
• Stay informed about health legislation and guidelines pertinent to education.
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular health-related programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Education, or related field
• Teaching certification preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience teaching health education in a school setting
