Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Pedorthist to join our dynamic team in Sydney. In this role, you will assess, design, and provide custom footwear and orthotic solutions tailored to meet the needs of patients experiencing foot-related issues. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving patient mobility and quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pedorthics and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' feet, lower limbs, and gait patterns.
  • Design and develop custom orthotic devices and footwear modifications.
  • Provide expert advice on proper footwear selection and fit.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Stay updated with advancements in pedorthics and related fields.
  • Participate in professional development activities.
  • Foster relationships with patients to promote clinic services.
  • Ensure adherence to privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
  • Assist in training junior staff and interns as needed.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the clinic.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pedorthics, Podiatry, or a related field
  • Certification or registration as a Pedorthist
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pedorthist
