Job Description

As a Transportation Engineer, you will spearhead the design, planning, and execution of various highway improvement projects. Your expertise in engineering principles, project management skills, and effective communication will be crucial in ensuring project success.

Responsibilities

  • Design and draft highway layouts using AutoCAD and GIS software.
  • Perform site evaluations and liaise with contractors during construction.
  • Prepare and present project documentation to stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management software to track milestones and deliverables.
  • Engage in community consultations to incorporate stakeholder feedback.
  • Assess environmental impacts and implement mitigative measures.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in transportation engineering.
  • Provide mentorship and oversight for junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering
