We are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Ballarat. In this role, you will design, develop, and oversee the production of mechanical systems and products. Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend solutions.
• Stay updated on advancements in engineering technology.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.
• Support the development of new engineering processes and systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles

• Thermal Analysis
• Materials Science

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD Simulation Tools: Hands-on experience with CAD simulation for mechanical designs.
• Knowledge of ISO standards: Familiarity with ISO standards applicable to mechanical engineering.
