Job Description

We are seeking a Solar Hot Water Heater Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing solar hot water heaters. This role requires expertise in manufacturing and knowledge of solar energy technology.

Responsibilities

• Assemble solar hot water units following rigorous technical specifications.
• Perform detailed inspections of assembled units to ensure high quality.
• Identify issues and repair solar hot water heaters efficiently.
• Oversee regular maintenance of manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Commit to strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with product engineers to implement design improvements.
• Lead training sessions for new technicians on equipment use.
• Track installation processes and generate reports on unit performance.
• Innovate methods for improving assembly efficiency and safety.
• Contribute to cross-departmental meetings to refine service delivery outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
• Certificate IV in Renewable Energy

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Experience with CAD Software
