Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our woodworking machines. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate machines used in the production of wood products.
• Assist in the training of new operators on machine operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues promptly.
• Maintain documentation on machine maintenance and production output.
• Follow environmental and safety regulations during operations.
• Work with supervisors to improve machine processes and workflows.

Requirements

Education

• Trade Qualification in Woodworking or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role preferred.

Technical Skills

• Ability to Read Technical Drawings
• Good Math Skills

• Time Management
• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous Manufacturing Experience: Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is an asset.
• Forklift License: Possession of a valid forklift operation license.
