Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engine Specialist to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing engines used in a variety of industries, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engine maintenance and repair operations.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine problems.
• Assist with new engine installations and upgrades.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff on engine maintenance.
• Work closely with the engineering team to enhance engine designs.
• Assist in developing maintenance schedules based on operational needs.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering
• Certificate IV in Engineering is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years in engine maintenance, particularly with diesel engines

Technical Skills

• Diesel Engine Knowledge
• Marine Engine Experience

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Leadership

Certifications

• Forklift License (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications related to aviation engines: Qualifications or experience with engines used in aviation.
• Experience with engine performance tuning: Experience in tuning engines for improved performance and efficiency.
