Slasher Runner

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Slasher Runner to carry out lawn maintenance tasks by efficiently operating slashing machinery. This position entails not only working independently but also contributing as a team member to enhance the overall appearance and safety of the properties managed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a slashing machine to cut and trim grass.
• Maintain the slashing machine and other equipment in good working condition.
• Identify and report any malfunctions or issues with equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during operation.
• Ensure records are kept of tasks completed and areas maintained.
• Assist in the training of new team members when necessary.
• Collaborate with the Vegetation Management Supervisor on project needs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues about job progress.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience operating a slashing machine or similar equipment is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Driver's License: A valid Australian driver's license is beneficial for this role.
