Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, you will operate and tend machines that cut, shape, and finish wood products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate skill in woodworking machinery and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and tend woodworking machines that cut, shape, and finish wood products.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Verify dimensions of products against specifications using measuring tools.
  • Adjust machine settings to achieve desired finishes and tolerances.
  • Assist in the training of new joinery staff on machine operation.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Furniture Making or equivalent
  • Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in woodworking or related fields
