Instructional Technology Specialist

Job Description

As an Instructional Technology Specialist, you'll collaborate with teachers to design and develop technology solutions tailored to enhance student learning. The role involves providing training, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design training programs for teachers on the latest instructional technology tools.
• Assist in the integration of new technologies into existing curricula.
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of instructional technology implementations.
• Coordinate with IT staff to ensure all technology systems are functioning correctly.
• Lead workshops for students on using technology safely and effectively.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of instructional technology resources.
• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to faculty and students.
• Assist in the development of online courses and e-learning materials.
• Engage in continuous learning about new educational technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or a relevant field
• Master’s degree in Educational Technology is preferred

Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in a K-12 educational environment focusing on technology use

Languages
