Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Portable Pinch Riveter to join our manufacturing team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for joining metal parts using a portable pinch riveter, alongside a variety of hand and power tools. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Select and install appropriate rivets based on application specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure sets are safe and operational.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Perform quality control tests to assess the integrity of riveted joints.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Metal Fabrication or equivalent
• Valid Forklift license is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years working experience with portable pinch riveters.
