Security Guard

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and regulating access to our facility, ensuring a secure environment for clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure only authorised personnel enter the facility.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or persons.
• Perform regular assessments of security systems and protocols.
• Respond to emergency situations and initiate appropriate action.
• Provide assistance and guidance to visitors on site.
• Keep accurate records of all activities and incidents.
• Operate and manage security devices including alarms and two-way radios.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Attend training and development programs as required.
• Assist in conducting security audits and risk assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Security Operations
• Advanced First Aid Certificate

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in security or law enforcement

Technical Skills

• Threat Assessment
• Emergency Response Protocols

• Customer Service

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• High-level Security Clearance: Preferred candidates with high-level security vetting will have an advantage.
• Previous Military or Law Enforcement Experience: Experience in military or law enforcement roles is advantageous.
