Block Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Block Machine Operator to operate and maintain our block-making machines. Your role will involve ensuring production efficiency and adhering to high-quality standards in concrete block production.

Responsibilities

• Operate block-making machines to produce concrete blocks and pavers.
• Maintain and service machines to ensure efficient and smooth production.
• Monitor machine operations and alert the maintenance team in case of issues.
• Assist in quality control checks to ensure blocks meet specifications.
• Ensure tools and the working environment are clean and well-maintained.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding production output and machine performance.
• Participate in safety drills and training programs regularly.
• Adapt to changes in production requirements swiftly.
• Assist with training new employees on machinery operations.
• Document any safety incidents or near misses and report them immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in Manufacturing or Engineering
• Forklift License is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
