Geological Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Geological Technician to support our laboratory operations. In this role, you will prepare and analyze geological samples, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in science, laboratory techniques, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork when necessary to gather geological data.
• Utilize various laboratory tools and software for data analysis.
• Support project teams by providing timely feedback and updates.
• Participate in safety training and uphold laboratory safety standards.
• Engage in continuous education and training to remain current in the field.
• Assist in the validation of new methods and techniques in the lab.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or related field
• Relevant certifications in laboratory practices are advantageous.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment
