Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Wollongong team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and project management. You will work collaboratively on various engineering projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models of mechanical systems using CAD software.
• Lead engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Implement design improvements based on testing feedback.
• Prepare project proposals and technical presentations.
• Support the project manager in meeting deadlines.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Manage documentation for project compliance and audits.
• Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles

• AutoCAD
• Prototyping

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified Project Manager (CPM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
