Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager at Logistics Solutions Pty Ltd, you will oversee the daily operations of our Shepparton facility. You will be responsible for managing the warehouse team, optimizing inventory control, and ensuring efficient logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in warehouse management, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign tasks to warehouse staff to optimise workflow.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain accident reports.
• Evaluate warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with management on budgetary and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships to enhance procurement processes.
• Facilitate communication between warehouse and other departments.
• Monitor and report on the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Forklift Operation

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Certified in First Aid to ensure workplace safety.
• Experience in E-commerce Logistics: Familiarity with logistics specific to online retail operations.
