Job Description

As a National Secretary, you will oversee the organization's national operations, ensuring alignment with our mission and objectives. You will develop policies that uphold compliance while managing relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the national administrative functions, ensuring effective operational performance.
  • Create and update organisational policies for overall compliance.
  • Provide high-level support to the leadership team, especially the CEO.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the organisation's presence.
  • Organise and facilitate key meetings and events that promote our objectives.
  • Enhance communication strategies between offices to streamline operations.
  • Supervise budgets and ensure rigorous financial protocols.
  • Evaluate team performance and implement training as needed.
  • Anticipate operational challenges and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Drive improvements in operational processes through innovative thinking.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Secretary) are advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, preferably in the non-profit or government sector.
