As a Yard Laborer, you will undertake various physical tasks critical to maintaining orderly and efficient operations in our outdoor facilities. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness of the yard, assisting with loading and unloading deliveries, operating machinery, and adhering to strict safety protocols. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning and maintenance of the yard area
• Assist with the movement of heavy materials and equipment
• Help train new staff in yard procedures and safety practices
• Engage in regular safety inspections of the yard and equipment
• Ensure all machinery is operated safely and correctly
• Assist with scheduling deliveries and pickups of materials
• Maintain comprehensive records of yard activity
• Implement best practices in waste disposal and recycling
• Support the development of a team-oriented work environment
• Participate in safety briefings and training sessions

Requirements

Education

• No formal educational qualifications required

Experience

• Previous experience in a yard labourer role is advantageous but not mandatory.
