Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Exercise Physiologist to design and implement exercise programs for patients with chronic conditions. You will actively participate in clinical research to assess the effectiveness of exercise interventions.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' health histories and physical assessments.
Develop exercise prescriptions based on individual health needs and goals.
Facilitate group exercise sessions as required.
Conduct follow-up assessments to track patient progress.
Engage in research activities, compiling data and writing reports.
Advocate for exercise as a part of a holistic healthcare approach.
Implement safe exercise practices and injury prevention strategies.
Provide mentorship to junior staff and students.
Contribute to health promotion and community outreach initiatives.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field
Master's degree in Exercise Physiology is preferred
Experience
2+ years of experience in clinical exercise physiology or related areas
