Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Wage Conciliator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will facilitate the resolution of wage disputes between employees and employers. Your deep understanding of employment legislation, along with your negotiation skills, will be pivotal in ensuring both parties arrive at fair and amicable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate wage complaints thoroughly and impartially.
  • Mediate discussions and facilitate compromises between disputing parties.
  • Interpret and apply employment laws to assist in dispute resolutions.
  • Advise on entitlements and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Document case progress and prepare recommendations for resolution.
  • Monitor legislative changes and update practices accordingly.
  • Engage with external legal entities to support dispute resolution tasks.
  • Educate clients on their rights in relation to wage issues.
  • Track and report on the outcomes of wage disputes.
  • Facilitate workshops on wage negotiations and conflict resolution.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant tertiary degree in Law or Industrial Relations
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in wage dispute resolution

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
