As a Terra Cotta Mason, you will be responsible for the design, creation, and repair of terra cotta structures. This position requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Mix and prepare clay and other materials for terra cotta production.
Operate pottery wheels, kilns, and other fabrication equipment.
Supervise and train junior masons and apprentices.
Assess the quality of finished products and troubleshoot any defects.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Bricklaying / Blocklaying (or equivalent)
White Card Certification
Experience
2+ years of experience in terra cotta design and creation
Technical Skills
Strong Knowledge of Clay Properties
Proficiency with Software Tools
