Job Description

As a Terra Cotta Mason, you will be responsible for the design, creation, and repair of terra cotta structures. This position requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Mix and prepare clay and other materials for terra cotta production.
• Operate pottery wheels, kilns, and other fabrication equipment.
• Supervise and train junior masons and apprentices.
• Assess the quality of finished products and troubleshoot any defects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Bricklaying / Blocklaying (or equivalent)
• White Card Certification

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in terra cotta design and creation

Technical Skills

• Strong Knowledge of Clay Properties
• Proficiency with Software Tools

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Historical Terra Cotta Designs: Understanding of traditional techniques and styles.
