Responsibilities

• Prepare explosives and other blasting materials for entry into blast areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to blasting operations.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining blast sites, including the placement of explosives.
• Monitor and record data regarding blast operations, including blast timing and results.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of blasting equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient blasting operations.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or potential hazards to the supervisor.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.

Advantageous

• Experience in handling bulk explosives: Proven experience in managing large quantities of explosives safely.
• Experience in operating heavy machinery: Competence in using heavy machinery commonly found on construction sites.
